Black and White Photography

Everyone is posting black and white images these days for the a picture a day challenge…

As for me, I’m enjoying revisiting various locations in Daejeon with new photography equipment and new skills. I haven’t been to the Daejeon National Cemetery in many years and was joyful to see it in warm autumn colors with plenty of photographic opportunities.

Contrary, I turned these images in black and white, because I believe that is the mood that they dictate. Despite the bright colors of fake flowers at each grave, seeing people reminiscing and mourning is sure enough to create a somber state of mind.

What are your favorite black and white images of the moment?
