Couple photography: Hyunhee and Hakcheol

This past Monday, my Korean friends along with my husband drove to Glacier National Park. It is one of the only National Parks that I’ve ever visited and every year it is still amazing and magnificent. This time around we hiked 1.5 miles to the Hidden lake overlook. It was a super hot day, but completely worth the trip. I encountered squirrels, numerous mountain goats and another small creature I wasn’t sure what it was called, hehe. Goats are always a thrill, because they are shaggy and are not afraid of humans. I even caught a sight of mom and baby goat trying to seek shelter with another duo, but were quickly denied. They touched noses (all on camera of course) and went on their way. I LOVE Glacier and very glad I was able to capture this image on the way down of my lovely chingoos. The fact that they held hands just “sweetened the pot”.

EXIF: ISO 400, 1/1600sec, f13.

I wanted to capture a large depth of field, hence the large aperture. At the same time I liked the emphasis on the couple while converting the image to B&W in post.
