The Daejeon Arts Collective (DJAC) has been around since 2011 with more than 50 members having been a part of the collective since. The Daejeon Arts Collective hosts exhibitions twice a year and has become an important element in the international community of Daejeon. Artists in the collective present a wide variety of work, including (but not limited to) painting, silk screen, ceramics, multi-media, embroidery, wood working, photography, paper cutting, and sculpture. Beyond the semi-annual Daejeon Arts Collective exhibitions, our members exhibit their work in galleries across Korea and internationally.
Currently there are more than 20 active members and 13 of which are promptly getting ready to exhibit their new work in a little over week. This will be our 10th exhibit and is rightfully titled “X.” The exhibit will be held in Wooyeon Gallery in Eunhengdong from December 8 to December 13th. The opening party is scheduled for December 10th from 7-10pm. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. You’ll also be able to witness a live performance at the opening party. Please RSVP on Facebook’s event. We sure hope to see you there!
