Love among cherry blossoms

Seasons may change winter to spring, but I’ll live you until the end of time” from “Moulin Rouge”

These two love birds have recently gotten married and were kind enough to agree to be photographed among the cherry trees at our university – Mokwon. Mokwon is known as the 3rd best place for cherry trees, but based on its occupancy during the peak blooming season, I’d argue that its #1 due to the lack of pedestrians that populate the campuses of KAIST and Chungnam Universities (#1 and #2 schools for cherry beauties).

A very international couple – Elbert is from Tanzania and Polina is from Bulgaria. Of all the places in the world, they met here, in South Korea.

Would you like to be captured among the famous blooms?

Contact me for more information and we’ll start scheduling your future session – engagement, portraits or families – I’d love to photograph you in any season!

  1. Wow, these photos are absolutely stunning Alla! This entire shoot is amazing, what a perfect time of year to get couple photos taken. Also, I want to come back to Korea just to check out these cherry blossoms since it’s considered the 3rd best place in Korea for them! Superb work!

  2. These are quite possibly the loveliest photos I’ve seen from you (and I’m constantly amazed!). Their love has really been captured by you and the lens. The cherry blossoms just take the. To another level. What a magical selection!

  3. You’ve got a great eye! You can tell those two are neck high in love. You even made a “typical” setting seem fresh, lively, and new! Great work! Got any tips to share? lol

  4. Gorgeous photos in an equally gorgeous setting. Love that first shot, and the couple looks so happy in love. I like your tip about Mokwon – it would be my #1 too based on lack of pedestrians, and it certainly looks like it’s not suffering for cherry blossoms!

  5. Gorgeous as usual. Of course they agreed to have you shoot them! Who wouldn’t want that? I really like that pick where you managed to capture them through a little whole in the cherry blossoms. How’d you manage to find that perfect little hole!!?

    • It’s my job! There was a different set of trees that I’ve used in the past at a different location, but this year those trees weren’t blooming in time. So I had to scout another place and found this hole from a balcony of one of our buildings. I love finding special spots like that – no need to actually climb trees 🙂

  6. I think I biked through Mokwan to see the cherry blossoms! It’s absolutely gorgeous! And I love how many international the couplings are in South Korea, Bulgaria and Tanzania is definitely much farther away than my boyfriend and I who are from opposite ends of the USA but met in Daejeon as well 🙂
