A few months back, while the weather was still on the chilly side, I was contacted by Monica in search of a Maternity photography session. She also lives in Daejeon, in fact only 15-20 drive away. We talked about doing an indoor and possibly an outdoor session as well and when I asked her to send me some pictures of her apartment, I knew it was going to be perfect. With clean lines, modern furnishings and ample ambient light, I was looking forward to photograph this excited couple.
We started things off in the bedroom and soon moved into the living room, where Monica and Daniel didn’t mind moving some things around. It’s nice working with folks who know the importance of photographer’s vision. You can view some of the best images that came out from their lovely home.
When it comes to babies, they are on their own time frame and sadly, we were still a few weeks away from the much anticipated cherry trees. Still memories needed to be made and moments captured, so we ventured together to a lovely little park in front of Yuseong Homeplus. I like the contrast of Monica’s vibrant dress against the bare trees and the leading lines of this location. The weather warmed up just enough for them on that day to exclude the need for jackets. Hooray!
It was my pleasure to capture this special moment in the lives of Daniel and Monica and I wish them nothing but the bluest skies in their future.
