Photographing fall in Daejeon, South Korea

Autumn – the year’s last, loveliest smile” by William Cullen Bryant.

Living in a city of over 1.5 million and growing, may be a bit challenging finding those picturesque autumn splashes of color. Over the years, I was able to visit a number of places in Daejeon, where fall and it’s ephemeral beauty are IN YOUR FACE!

I hope you take the time out of our busy lives to enjoy an afternoon or a picnic in one of the following autumn-filled places:

  1. City Hall Park  (시청 공원) – City Hall subway stop Exit 3. Walk straight for about 1-2 minutes, the park will be on your right.

  1. Garyeong Mountain National Park (계룡산국립공원)

  1. Jangtae Mountain (장태산)

  1. Hanbat Arboretum (한밭수목원)

  1. National Cemetery (국립대전현충원)

  1. Uam Historical Park (우암사적공원)
